Massimiliano Lombardi was born in Naples in 1982, from a family of artists. He grew up in an environment tightly connected to the art of painting and sculpting, absorbing since childhood the teachings of his grandfather Italo and his father Carlo. He undertook classical studies at the Vittorio Emanuele Hgh School in Naples graduating in 2000 with the highest grades.
Since he was a teenager fascinated by the visual arts, he showed interest in graphics, painting, sculpture, and restoration. His search for a way to express himself, which continues nowadays, materialized in several art exhibitions.
In 1997 he began to approach the plastic art of “architecture”, which he deemed to be the right key to attain the geometric control of the free forms and the possibility to achieve the “functional creation” of artworks. Therefore, he decided to follow the five year-long academic path at the Architecture Department of the Federico II University in Naples where he obtained his diploma in 2007 with the maximum grade of 110 cum laude.
In April 2008 he passed the test to become a licensed architect and he was included in the Register of architects, planners, landscapers, and curators of the Provence of Naples. In 2009 he was included in the Register of the Naples Courthouse as a Legal Technical Consultant.
From 2007 to 2009 he collaborated actively with several architecture and engineering firms in the fields of planning and construction site work, while he continued to paint and sculpts for himself and for the public. At the same time, he began to work on his own project whose goal was to give the widest interpretation to the word “architecture”. In July 2009 such project materialized wih the launch in downtown Naples of a firm and a laboratory for planning, designing, decorating, restoring, and creating art applications.
